Attributed support links
Display a support button while retaining application attribution.
Use the returned URL
The profile endpoint returns support_url with opaque application attribution already attached. Display it unchanged. Never construct your own bmm-partner value.
Only render this when support_url is present. The link is public and cannot read private data. BMM still checks its connection at checkout.
Availability and attribution
Use id as the BMM identity; usernames can change. Render the returned support_url without rebuilding it or replacing bmm-partner with your application ID. The opaque public source identifies this approved partner/creator connection, cannot read data, and is checked again at checkout. Shared copies retain attribution; direct profile visits are unattributed. Username redirects retain the source. Group checkout attribution is outside Connect’s current scope.
profile_url and support_url can be null when the connection environment does not match the payment deployment. Do not invent a fallback attributed checkout. Shared copies retain attribution, while ordinary direct profile visits do not.
Revocation
Disconnecting disables the attributed link. Existing provider checkouts may still settle with their original attribution. Keep the original platform tab open by using a new tab; no intermediate support page is required.
