A little clarity.
About contributions
Buy Me a Malt lets people voluntarily support independent creators. A contribution is not a purchase, investment, membership, or promise of future work. Supporters choose an amount and pay using Bachs checkout.
Payments and withdrawals
Buy Me a Malt collects contributions through its platform Bachs account and records each creator’s verified earnings. Processing fees are deducted before earnings become available. Bank withdrawals require recipient verification and an approved bank account. Any configured withdrawal fee is shown before confirmation. Refunds, disputes and pending withdrawals can reduce or reserve your balance.
This release starts in sandbox mode. Sandbox contributions and balances are test data and cannot be withdrawn as real money.
Refunds and payment issues
Use the report form below to request a review of an accidental contribution, duplicate charge, or payment issue. Include a payment reference, never card details. Refund availability depends on the payment method and Bachs’s refund rules. A refund is not guaranteed merely because it was requested.
Your profile and privacy
Your display name, username, photo, biography, social link, support item and theme are public profile information. Authentication identifies your account so you can manage it. We store contribution amounts, payment references, status, and optional supporter details to run the service. Supporter names and messages are private unless the supporter opts into publication. Public amounts additionally require the creator’s visibility setting.
Bachs processes payment and identity information on its own services. We do not store card numbers or private creator API keys. Payout records retain the bank name, verified account name, a masked account number, and Bachs destination identifiers. Use the report form for privacy or deletion requests; financial records may need to be retained to resolve transactions.
Keep this a good place
Do not impersonate others, misrepresent your work, submit abusive content, or use the platform for unlawful transactions. Creators may hide public messages. Profiles can be suspended following review.
